On a cold winter’s night.
Stood a maiden, in pale moonlight.
Her face told a tale.
Of a young mother, who had sadly failed.
She wandered to and fro, never knowing where to go.
And the tears they ran down, her swollen cheeks all red and raw.
She cried out his name.
In the hope of seeing his face again.
But sorrow did prevail, for this young mother who was full of blame.
And there she spied the edge of this troubled world,
